What ProDeep is
A laser that heats deeper skin without removing the surface.
ProDeep (Vydence ProDeep) is designed for sub-surface remodeling. Instead of removing the outer layer of skin like ablative resurfacing, it delivers fractional energy into the deeper dermis. The controlled heating may support collagen remodeling and gradual skin-quality improvement. It treats microscopic zones and leaves the surrounding tissue to support recovery. It goes deeper than a light refresh, but it is not ablative resurfacing.
ProDeep candidacy and risks
Skin type, sun and history first. Sometimes waiting is the safer plan.
Good candidates
Guests whose main concern is texture, acne scar appearance, pores, fine lines or stretch marks, and who can plan around sun exposure.
Tell your care team
Your skin type, recent tanning or self-tanner, melasma or pigment history, heat-triggered discoloration, isotretinoin history, medications and recent procedures.
Sometimes no is safer
Recent tanning or sunburn, an active rash, infection or open lesions, a compromised skin barrier, photosensitizing medications, poor wound healing or uncontrolled medical conditions.
Common effects
Redness, warmth, swelling or sensitivity may occur the same day, and dryness or roughness in the first week, depending on settings and your skin.
What it cannot do
ProDeep cannot promise scar removal, pore elimination, wrinkle correction or new collagen.
Pregnancy
Laser and light treatments are postponed during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding, tell us before booking.
Aftercare
Protect your skin from the sun while it recovers.
Avoid tanning, sunburn and unnecessary sun exposure before and after treatment. Use SPF and the skincare we recommend, support your skin barrier, and return for your series or maintenance plan as recommended.
